Transiting Passengers

Passengers in transit to Dili or from Dili to another destination will have to process your boarding pass at Transfer Desk E at Terminal 2, Changi International Airport by presenting the following documentation :

Your current passport with a minimum of 6 months validity
Valid Travel documents i.e. airline ticket / e-ticket / travel itineraries
Visa, if required
Baggage tag slips

Some tips for a smooth transit:

Check the Flight Information Screens for your departure terminal, departure time and gate number.
Ensure you are at your departure gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
If your unsure on where you need to go please check with Changi Information Service counters.
ALL departure gates at Singapore's Changi Airport close 10 minutes before flight departure.
If you have some spare time Changi Airport offers a host of activities for your enjoyment (see link below).

Please note that Austasia Airlines flight to Dili departs from Terminal 2. Should your transit flight be departing from other terminals the following procedure should be followed :

Connecting from Dili to a flight departing at Terminal 1 :

During check in at Dili, advise check in staff of the connecting flight so that all checked baggage can be interlined to your final destination.
Upon arrival in Singapore, proceed to the Skytrain within the transit area to Terminal 1.
At Terminal 1, approach Transfer Desk C or D for boarding pass processing and present your baggage tags to the staff to allocate your baggage to the continuing flight.
Upon collection of your boarding pass, ensure you are at the departure gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure time.

Connecting from Dili to a flight departing at Budget Terminal:

During check in at Dili, advise check in staff that you will be disembarking in Singapore. Your bags will be tagged as final destination Singapore.
Upon arrival in Singapore, proceed to customs/immigration clearance, collect your baggage and exit the arrival hall.
Proceed to Basement level through the elevators to catch the Budget Terminal Coach. The coach departs every 10 minutes.
The coach will take you to the Budget Terminal for check in for your onward flight.
Please note - Passengers intending to catch a flight at the budget terminal cannot collect their baggage and return into the Transit area of Terminal 2.

Connecting to Dili from a flight arriving at Terminal 1:

During check-in at port of departure, advise check in staff of your onward flight to Dili on MI296 at the check-in counter and request that your baggage be interlined through to Dili
Upon arrival in Singapore, proceed to the Skytrain near station D to Terminal 2.
Upon arrival at Terminal 2, proceed to Transfer desk E and collect your onward boarding pass to Dili. You MUST ensure you present your baggage tags to check in staff to enable transfer of your baggage from Terminal 1 to the aircraft bound for Dili at Terminal 2.
Please ensure you are at the departure gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Connecting to Dili from a flight arriving at Terminal 2:

During check in at port of departure, advise of your onward flight to Dili on MI296 and request that your baggage be interlined tagged through to Dili
Upon arrival in Singapore, proceed to Transfer Desk E to collect your boarding pass to Dili. You MUST ensure you present your baggage tags to the staff to enable transfer of your baggage.
Please ensure you are at the departure gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Connecting to Dili from a flight arriving at Terminal 3:

During check in at port of departure, advise of your onward flight to Dili on MI296 and request that your baggage be interlined tagged through to Dili
Upon arrival in Singapore, proceed to the Skytrain station A or B to Terminal 2.
Upon arrival at Terminal 2, proceed to Tranfer Desk E and collect your onward boarding pass to Dili. You MUST ensure you present your baggage tags and passport to the staff to enable tranfer of your baggage.
Please ensure you are at the departure gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Connecting from Dili to a flight departing from Terminal 3:

During check in at Dili, advise check in staff of the connecting flight so that all checked baggage can be interline tagged to your final destination.
Upon arrival at terminal 2, check the flight information screens to confrim the Departure Gate number of your next flight.
Proceed to Skytrain Station E or F to Terminal 3.
Proceed to the Transfer Desk (A or B) relative to your flight Departure Gate to collect your onward boarding pass to your final destination.
EXCEPT for the following airlines; Swiss International and United Airlines at Transfer Desk C in Terminal 1; Cathay Paciffic and Northwest Airlines at Tranfer Desk D in Terminal 1; Lufthansa and Malaysian Airlines at Tranfer Desk E in Terminal 2.
Please ensure you are at the departure gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.
